What we actually do

Archer specialises in electronic security systems for homes and businesses.

Our work includes CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, intercom and door entry systems, data cabling, CCTV Connect and ongoing servicing and maintenance.

We don’t start with a box of equipment and try to make it fit the job.

We start by understanding the property or premises, what needs to be achieved and how the customer will actually use the system. From there, Archer specifies the appropriate solution, supplies the equipment and professionally installs it.

How we work

Security systems aren’t one-size-fits-all.

Two properties can need completely different solutions even if the customer initially asks for the same thing.

That’s why Archer starts with the requirement rather than a standard package.

We look at the property, how it is used, what systems are already in place and what the customer wants the new system to achieve before recommending the appropriate equipment.

The aim is to specify what is genuinely needed rather than adding equipment simply because it can be sold.

Once the requirement is clear, Archer supplies and professionally installs the system we’ve recommended.

Our own team

The people who carry out Archer’s work are part of the Archer team.

Our engineers survey, install, service and maintain the systems we provide, giving customers a direct relationship with the company responsible for the work.

Archer also develops skills within the business through in-house training, including an apprentice engineer learning the trade alongside the rest of the engineering team.

That matters because the standard of the installation isn’t separate from the people carrying it out.

Qualified and trained for the work

Members of Archer’s engineering team hold professional qualifications and licences relevant to the work they carry out.

These include City & Guilds qualifications and IPAF powered-access licences.

Training also continues within the business so knowledge and installation standards are developed as part of the Archer team.

Providing security solutions since 2013

Archer Security has been working in the security sector since 2013.

Since then, the business has developed into a team providing professionally specified electronic security systems for homes and businesses, from individual residential installations through to larger commercial projects.

Archer works with both residential and commercial customers, but the requirements are not always the same.

Based in Telford, working across the region

Archer Security is based in Telford and works across Telford, Shrewsbury and the wider Shropshire area, as well as Stafford and Wolverhampton.

For larger commercial projects, Archer can travel further where the opportunity is a suitable fit.

We’re still here after the installation

Installing a system isn’t necessarily the end of the relationship.

Archer also provides servicing, maintenance and support for suitable electronic security systems, including suitable systems originally installed by another company.
