The people behind the installations

Archer's engineering team carries out the surveys, installations, servicing and maintenance behind the systems we provide.

Because the engineers are part of the Archer team, customers aren't simply buying equipment from one company and dealing with somebody unrelated when it comes to the installation.

The same business remains responsible for understanding the requirement, specifying the system, installing it and providing ongoing support.

Developing the next engineer

Archer also has an apprentice engineer developing within the team.

The apprenticeship gives them the opportunity to learn the trade while working alongside more experienced engineers on genuine installations and servicing work.

It's part of Archer's approach to developing technical skills within the business rather than relying entirely on bringing them in from elsewhere.

Trained in-house

Training doesn't stop once somebody joins the team.

Archer develops its engineers internally so knowledge, installation standards and ways of working can be shared across the engineering team.

Members of the team also hold professional qualifications and licences relevant to their work, including City & Guilds qualifications and IPAF powered-access licences.

Backed by recognised standards

Archer Security is SSAIB certificated and fully insured.

Part of Archer's story since 2013

Archer Security has been working in the security sector since 2013.

The team has grown around that experience, with engineers, an apprentice and office staff now supporting residential and commercial customers from Archer's base in Telford.

Working with homeowners and businesses

The Archer team works across both residential and commercial electronic security.

For homeowners, that can include CCTV, intruder alarms, intercoms and servicing.

For businesses, Archer also provides systems including commercial CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, intercoms and data cabling.

The relationship doesn't end when the installation does

The team also provides servicing and maintenance for suitable electronic security systems.

That includes suitable systems installed by Archer and suitable existing systems originally installed elsewhere.

If you're taking over an existing system or something has developed a fault, tell the team what's installed and we'll establish whether Archer can help.

24/7 call-out service

Archer provides a 24/7 call-out service.

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm.
