Gate entry, upgrades and repairs

Most of what we do with gates is making an existing one work better: an intercom on it, safety photocells fitted, or the electronics put right.

Getting an intercom onto a gate you already have

This is the most common request. An audio or video intercom on an existing gate means you can see and speak to whoever is at the entrance, and let them in, without walking down to it.

It can usually be integrated with the automation already fitted, so one call both identifies the caller and opens the gate.

Safety photocells

Photocells stop an automated gate closing on a vehicle or a person. On a gate that is used by anyone other than the owner, they are not optional in any sensible reading.

If your gate does not have them, it is worth a conversation.

Repairs and upgrades

Gate electronics fail: control boards, receivers, safety edges, worn-out fobs. We diagnose and repair rather than automatically replacing the whole installation.

New gate installation is something we take on alongside a CCTV or alarm project rather than as a standalone service.

An intercom gives staff a way to deal with visitors, deliveries and contractors at a controlled entrance without somebody having to walk out to see who is there.
